Dans la lignée du projet Modular, réalisé en avril 2012 pour le centre d’art Micro onde à Vélizy, j’ai proposé une installation jouant sur la transparence du papier, la couleur et la lumière. Des paysages cosmiques ont été imprimés en offset sur un papier translucide, recto ou recto/verso, parfois avec des mélanges de tons dans l’encrier permettant d’obtenir des dégradés aléatoires. Les superpositions de ces affiches, sur une table lumineuse, permettent de composer des paysages. La fragilité du papier et la délimitation des formats contrastent avec l’immatérialité et la profondeur du Cosmos ici représenté.

In line with the Modular project, which took place in April 2012 for Micro Onde art center in Velizy, I proposed an installation which sought to make use of the paper’s transparent qualities, as well as color and light. Cosmic landscapes were offset printed on translucent paper, front or front and back, at times using mixtures of colors in the ink to obtain random gradients. Overlays of these posters on a light table make it possible to compose landscapes. The fragility of the paper and the delimitation of formats contrasts with the immateriality and depth of the Cosmos as shown here.
