Ma première exposition rétrospective, qui s’est tenue à la Bibliothèque Hermeland à Saint-Herblain, a été une nouvelle occasion de collaborer avec la designer Pernelle pour la scénographie. Intitulée Swing, cette exposition m’a permis d’investir l’espace autour du mouvement et du rythme, en écho au travail de composition. Les projets s’enchaînent, se chevauchent et se répondent, dans un joyeux mouvement. Les magnets géants placés sur le grand mur d’affichage composaient une partition autonome. La table balançoire, ainsi que les modules-culbuto, produisaient un inévitable balancement au fil de la consultation des ouvrages. Les lettres SWING étaient matérialisées à l’entrée de l’exposition et pouvaient être pilotées (à loisir!) par les visiteurs…

In designing my first retrospective exhibition, held at the Bibliothèque Hermeland in Saint-Herblain, I had another opportunity of collaborating with Pernelle Poyet Called Swing, this exhibition allowed me to fill the surrounding space with movement and rhythm, echoing the conception of the compositions. The different projects formed links, overlapping and entering into a dialogue with one another in a single joyful movement. Giant “fridge magnets” arranged on a display wall created an autonomous partition. The swinging table and rocking furnishings meant that consulting the works displayed produced a swaying motion. Moveable letters forming the word SWING were placed at the entrance to the exhibition, visitors being free to rearrrange them as they wished…
