Cette installation artistique conçue par Olivier Vadrot prend place dans la cour d’un collège en Normandie. Les traditionnels clous des passages piétons se déploient au sol et donnent à lire un poème écrit par James Noël. Chaque clou est gravé d’une lettre. Cet alphabet, conçu par mes soins, peut être orienté et lu dans diverses inclinaisons: son dessin fait corps avec la forme circulaire des clous et la dynamique composite de la promenade…

This art installation created by Olivier Vadrot can be found in the courtyard of a school in Normandy. The traditional studs used to mark pedestrian crossings are here set in the grounds to spell out a poem by James Noël. Each stud has a letter incised on it. The alphabet, to my own design, can be oriented and read in different ways: its design chimes with the round shape of the studs and the composite dynamic of the journey round them.
